Compound 16A is single component non curing mastic specifically formulated for sealing against gas and water

in underground ducts carrying telephone cables.

The Compound 16A comes in 1 Kg blocks packed in 8 pcs per box. (8 x 1 Kg). It complies with British Telecom

specification M212C. The quantity of the compound required is estimated as follows:

• Duct 56 (50mm duct) – 0.2 Kgs
• Duct 54D (100mm duct) – 1.4 Kgs 

Estimate based on 1 Kg Compound 16A occupies 578 cm3. Above quantity is for completely filling to a depth

equivalent to the duct diameter.
