Webb media converter acts as an interface between copper structured cables and fibre optic networking cables. Fibre optic modem is designed to connect remote terminal unit (RTU) transmitters to a host or distributed data acquisition system controllers (SCADA). It consists of field-programmable gate arrays, which supports RS-232/422/485 communication interface.
