Notes
When a C19 outlet is mounted in a power strip or enclosure take care to not damage the outlet when removing the plug. To remove Secure Sleeve that remains in an outlet after cord extraction pull Secure Sleeve tabs that extend from outlet. If unable to extract with tabs then turn off power source and use Non-conductive tool to extract.
This model is black and has tabs to ease extraction. To properly install the Secure Sleeve, slide over plug shroud and press firmly onto plug. Fully insert cord to avoid arcing between conductors. Typically, 7 lbs of force pull are required to extract a C20 plug. With C20SecureSleeveTab the average is 18 lbs of force pull to extract a C20 plug. Repeated insertions and extractions may deteriorate the force pounds required to extract a C20 Plug.
